÷š÷š÷š÷š It is winter now. It is often cold. I can't say that÷š I÷š can
stand colds. So, sometime ago I suddenly fell ill.÷š I÷š mounted÷š a
high temperature. I had a running nose÷š and÷š a sore÷š throat. Also
I had a splitting headache and a cough. My whole body÷š ached.÷š My
mother fixed me a hot lemonade but that didn't help me much.÷š She
wanted to give me some aspirin tablets too, but there weren't any
in our house. My mother told me to stay in bed, then÷š she÷š called
for a doctor. The doctor came, remove his coat÷š and÷š put÷š on÷š his
white gown. The doctor÷š asked÷š me÷š to÷š strip÷š to÷š the÷š waist.÷š He
examined my lungs, felt my pulse÷š and÷š blood÷š pressure,÷š took÷š my
temperature. Then he examined my throat and said that÷š it÷š was÷š a
little inflamed. He said that is was a light case of the flu÷š and
told me÷š to÷š stay÷š in÷š bed÷š and÷š to÷š have÷š a÷š rest.÷š He÷š wrote÷š a
prescription for a gargle and cough medicine.÷š Also÷š he÷š gave÷š me
some sulfa pills, a slip for÷š X-Ray÷š and÷š blood÷š examination.÷š He
prescribed cups and mustard plasters. The prescription, which the
doctor left, was made up at the chemist's.÷š I÷š followed÷š all÷š the
doctor's instructions and very soon I felt÷š much÷š better.÷š In÷š 10
days I fully recovered and resumed my studies.
